Logitech has launched the G410 Atlas Spectrum mechanical keyboard, which is 25 percent faster compared to other mechanical keyboards. The keyboard is targeted at gamers.

Ujesh Desai, the general manager and VP of gaming at Logitech, says that the company has worked with gamers from different age categories for creating the G410 mechanical keyboard. Desai believes that the new keyboard meets the requirements of eSports athletes as well as young gamers, who are looking to purchase their first keyboard aimed at gaming.

The new Logitech keyboard features Romer-G mechanical switches, which helps in registering key presses faster in comparison to other mechanical keyboards. The latest keyboard has a durability rating of 70 million keystrokes, which is more than 40 percent higher when compared to other mechanical keyboards found in the market.

Logitech says that the absence of the ten-key pad gives extra space for gamers. The compact design of the keyboard also brings a gamer's hands closer to each other for better comfort.

The G410 weighs only 1.8 pounds, or just about 816 grams, which makes it portable and easy to carry around.

"With all the vital keys for gaming, the Logitech G410 Atlas Spectrum can be easily carried to LAN events or a friend's house, and fits into smaller gaming spaces," per the press release of the keyboard. "Plus, the compact design brings your hands closer together for improved comfort, which is particularly important for low DPI-gamers."

The keyboard comes with central backlighting, which makes the G410 easier to operate when in low-light conditions. Gamers can also customize the lighting in individual keys from a range of 16.8 million colors. The Logitech Gaming software can also synchronize light patterns in various Logitech G devices.

People who have used the latest Logitech G410 Atlas Spectrum are already praising the keyboard.

"My experience has been highly positive. The G410 is easy to type accurately on, with keys that are easy to find by touch and strike reliably without applying too much force," says a reviewer.

Logitech confirmed that the keyboard will be made available in Europe and the U.S. in October this year. The company also announced that the keyboard will be available at a price tag of $129.99 in the U.S. and for €149 in European countries.
