Technical specifications of Samsung SM-T670 were uploaded by an anonymous user to the GFXBench 3.1 benchmark database. Based on the listed details, it is almost a fact that SM-T670 is the Samsung Galaxy View.

The Galaxy View was teased by Samsung during the Gear S2 smartwatch unveiling in Berlin.

The benchmark reflects a device with an 18.5-inch touchscreen that supports five finger gestures. The resolution is set to 1,080p (1,920x1,080), which is relatively smaller to the 2,560x1,440 of the Galaxy Note 5, a 5.7-inch device.

The SoC is a Samsung Exynos 7 octa-core that clocked 1.6 GHz. A chip made up of four Cortex A53 and four Cortex A57, which uses the ARMv8 instruction set. Most claim that it could be the Exynos 7580 due to the clock speed. However, it should be noted that the 7580 uses eight A53 processor cores and not a combination of A53 and A57. The new Samsung tablet could sport an Exynos 7420 with a raised base clock speed and it is complemented by the ARM Mali-T720 GPU, which explains the 1,080p resolution. Whether it is the Exynos 7580 or Exynos 7420, users will most likely find out as the Galaxy View tablet release date approaches. All information at the moment should be treated with a grain of salt.

The RAM is listed at 1.8GB but on-board is most likely a 2GB module. The good thing is that it has a 25GB storage capacity, which is a good improvement over the usual 16GB on entry levels. However, it was not clear if the Galaxy View will support expandable memory.

The front camera is a meager 2MP, which is quite low compared to the 5MP of the recent releases for smartphones and tablets. It also does not have a rear camera, but according to speculations, it will be fitted with an 8MP one.

It comes equipped with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for connectivity. GPS and light sensor boxes were also ticked. The uploaded specification is inconclusive on whether the View comes with 4G LTE.

The device, which was running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and uses the OpenGL ES 3.1 API, was benchmarked for OpenGL ES 3.1, 3.0 and 2.0 games - Manhattan 3.1, Manhattan and T-Rex, respectively.

If estimates are accurate, the Galaxy View will be 451.8mm wide, 11.9mm thick and 275.8mm tall. It is also speculated to have a 5,700 mAh battery pack, which should be a adequate for a tablet its size.

Furthermore, according to rumors, the tablet already passed the RRA Certification and will likely be released sometime in the near future.
