Microsoft is looking to throw a party for all the Halo 5 fans who won't be taking the trip to their local game store come midnight on Oct. 26.

From 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 26, fans can tune in to Halo 5 Live on YouTube to catch interviews with Halo 5 writers, actors and developers, short features on Halo superfans along with "world premieres" and "gameplay exclusives." Live events will also be held at Microsoft Stores around the world, including those located in Hong Kong and New York City.

The event will also see the streaming premiere of the first episode of the Halo: The Fall of Reach animated series. The series comes included with the limited and collector's editions of Halo 5 and depicts the events of the Halo: The Fall of Reach novel by Eric Nylund.

Microsoft says more details, including the programming schedule, will be coming soon.
