Although Bisphenol S (BPS) has been touted as a better alternative to Bisphenol A, a study using zebrafish found that low exposure to both chemicals speeds up embryonic growth and alters the reproductive system. The level of chemicals used in the study was same with the chemicals' traces in polluted waters.
