It was recently confirmed by Nintendo that it is exiting its X integration because of the high API fees that the platform is charging them, marking the day it will be over.
However, there seems to be a conundrum thanks to the recent statement released by X's Gaming division, and while it acknowledges that the integration is over, it still disagrees with fully cutting ties.
Based on exits from last year, Nintendo was the last among the Big Three in gaming, now following Sony's PlayStation and Microsoft's Xbox in this disintegration.
Nintendo Exits X Because of High API Fees

Nintendo confirmed that it will exit X on June 10, discontinuing its integration with X that allows direct uploads of gathered media, including screenshots and game recordings.
The company also revealed that sending friend requests on the former Twitter platform from the Switch friends suggestion feature would also be no longer available.
The company claimed that to share images and clips of one's Switch gameplay, one would have to transfer them wirelessly to their smart device and then post them to the social media platforms they prefer.

Elon Musk's Platform Disagrees
However, X Gaming, the company's dedicated account for games, seems to disagree with Nintendo's decision to sever their ties. It acknowledged that these features are indeed gone and claimed that its partnership with Nintendo "remains strong."
Moreover, it claimed that it is continuing its collaborations with gaming partners to bring new features in the future but did not explain what they are or whether Nintendo is part of them.
The Community Notes that came with it said that Nintendo's departure was due to X's expensive API fees, which cost the Japanese gaming company around $40,000 or more per month.
X Integration with Gaming Platforms
It is previously known that users enjoyed the capability to share their game progress or any other forms of media to X, formerly Twitter, with the renowned integration helping make this possible.
However, since Musk stepped in and jacked up the prices on its API access, many have exited and ended their support, not only other apps from developers but also gaming companies.
Last year, Microsoft was the first one to make the move. Xbox is no longer able to share screenshots or videos directly with X via the player's account, which was known for previously offering direct integration.
After several months, Sony followed suit, and it disconnected PlayStation from X, no longer using its API and integration for uploading media thanks to the expensive access.
The only remaining company was Nintendo until this week, when reports about its X integration said that it is ending support soon. The company no longer wanted to pay for the high API access imposed by the social media platform.
On June 10, Switch users may no longer enjoy the direct upload from their console to social media, but X insists that their partnership remains strong.
