Android fans looking for an amazing deal on an unlocked phablet that can run Android 6.0 Marshmallow don't need to purchase the now sold out $499 Nexus 6P. Amazon is offering its predecessor, the Nexus 6 32 GB for $349 and 64 GB for $399.

Google appears to have a hit on its hands with its latest flagship phablet, the Huawei-built Nexus 6P. We recently reported that supply constraints were expected to cause a delay in the launch of the device in Canada. The phablet is completely sold out on Google's U.S. online store, and there's no word on when new handsets will be available to purchase.

Part of the increased interest in the Nexus 6P is due to the fact that it is the first phablet that ships with Google's latest and greatest version of Android, 6.0 Marshmallow, pre-installed. Fortunately, if you want a Nexus phablet that runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the Nexus 6P's predecessor, the unlocked Motorola-built Nexus 6, is available from Amazon for a much lower price. The retailer is offering the 32 GB model for $349.99 and the 64 GB variant for $399.99.

The unlocked Motorola-built Nexus 6 features a 5.96-inch quad-HD AMOLED screen with a resoution of 2560 by 1440 and a pixel density of 493 pixels per inch (ppi). It can be chosen in variants of 32 GB or 64 GB. The phablet is powered by a 3 GB of RAM, Adreno 420 graphics processing unit and a 2.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor. The device runs on Android's 5.0 Lollipop out of the box but can be upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Nexus 6's cameras consist of a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera with dual-LED flash, OIS (optical image stabilization), autofocus and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for video chatting and selfie pictures. The phone has a non-removable 3,220 mAh battery that will deliver up to 24 hours of talk time, 330 hours of standby time and Qi-enabled wireless charging support out of the box.

If you're interested in picking up the unlocked 32 GB or 64 GB Google Nexus 6, head over to Amazon, where you can score the phablet for $349.99 and $399.99. Both models are in stock and ready to ship and also include free shipping with the order.
