Warning! This article features spoilers for episode 4, Devil's Night!

FX aired part one of American Horror Story: Hotel's two part Halloween-themed episode on Wednesday night, and there was no shortage of spooky moments. While we were left as thirsty as Holden was after it ended, it appeared as though detective John Lowe (Wes Bentley) had one too many before taking his seat at the sadistic dinner party hosted by Mr. March (Evan Peters).

In Wednesday night's episode titled "Devil's Night," we were introduced to serial killer Aileen Wurnos, whose performance by Lily Rabe further solidified our belief that this is one of the series' best seasons to date. While some of the biggest serial killers in history celebrated in the same room together, the even more anticipatory moment was what would happen when Dr. Alex Lowe (Chloe Sevigny) confronted The Countess (Lady Gaga) over what the hell has happened to her son, Holden.

The Countess further explained her army of vampire's condition, putting it in medical terms as a rare blood virus that gives the host immortality. Alex would have to then sell her soul to become The Countess's minion in order to be able to never be a part from her son again.

The episode dramatically ended with Alex making the choice to take Mother Monster up on her offer. And in next's week episode titled "Room Service," Alex will now have to cope with her decision as the changes she is experiencing starts to effect her work life.

The official synopsis for episode 5 of AHS: Hotel is as follows:

Alex uses an unconventional treatment to save a dying patient. A Halloween-hating couple tests Iris's limits.

And the promo for next week shows just how fragile Iris is after her dramatic experience in episode 4.

Ramona Royale (Angela Bassett) and Donovan (Matt Bomer) start to put their plan to take down The Countess in motion, recruiting Iris (Kathy Bates) to be of use. Iris is seen looking terrified of the Queen of the castle hotel, as Donovan reassures the old woman that she will go unnoticed. But The Countess is always two steps ahead and seems onto the visibly nervous woman.

We can't wait to find out what Ramona and Elizabeth's former lover want Iris to do, and how far the old hag is willing to go. It's only a matter time before she breaks—-again.

Check out the promo for American Horror Story: Hotel episode 5 "Room Service" below, which airs Nov. 4, and tune in to watch new episodes at 10 p.m. Wednesdays EDT on FX.
