As customers may already know by now, especially the agog customers living in the U.S., it is now possible to preorder the highly awaited BlackBerry Priv via BlackBerry's online store. Those who prefer an alternative way to buy this newest BlackBerry device can now reserve one through the New York-based camera and electronics retailer: the B&H Photo.

The B&H Photo has already commenced accepting preorders for this brand new smartphone which is BlackBerry's very first phone to run Google's Android OS instead of BlackBerry OS.

The device has a price tag of $699.99, which means it is only 99 cents more expensive than what BlackBerry Priv is charging.

Another major difference, apart from the price, is the shipping date. While BlackBerry claims to start shipping the Priv during the week of Nov. 9, B&H Photo, however, promises to start delivering the smartphone on Nov. 20. Interestingly, those who are residing in New York may opt to personally pick up their orders at the B&H Superstore, seated at 420 9th Avenue.

Just a quick reminder on the phone's specs: this comes equipped with a 5.4-inch display, 1,440 x 2,560 resolution and dual curved edges akin to the screens of the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge+ of Samsung. Specifically, it rocks a pixel density of 441 ppi.

This gorgeous smartphone, packed with a Snapdragon 808 chipset, boasts an impressive Adreno 418 GPU and houses an octa-core 1.8 GHz CPU.

Perhaps, one of the bestselling points of the Priv is the sliding QWERTY keyboard. Of course, it features a virtual keyboard as well.

Its 3,410 mAh battery will let its users enjoy the stunning features for a longer period of time. It is equipped with a 3 GB of RAM and a 32 GB of storage. For those who require extra memory, the device touts a 2 TB capacity MicroSD slot.

The Priv likewise rocks a 5 MP front-facing shooter; built for selfie and video chat aficionados. At the back, it sports an 18 MP Schneider-Kreuznach.
