The Huawei Mate 8 is widely expected to make its debut later this month, on Nov. 26, but some pricing details already made their way online.

Huawei's upcoming Mate 8 will most likely hit the market as a high-end phablet with powerful specifications on board, joining the Huawei Mate S at the top-end of the device maker's portfolio.

No official details are available at this point regarding the price of the new Huawei Mate 8, but a new leak now claims to have some information on the matter. As AndroidHeadlines reports, the Huawei Mate 8 will apparently come in two different configurations. One model will feature 32 GB of internal storage and 3 GB of RAM, while a higher-end variant will pack a heftier 64 GB of built-in storage space and 4 GB of RAM.

According to the latest leak, the 32 GB model with 3 GB of RAM will cost around $520, while the 64 GB version with 4 GB of RAM will come in at roughly $610.

If these prices turn out to be accurate, the Huawei Mate 8 will not exactly be the most affordable handset in the company's lineup. On the other hand, the phablet is expected to rock some impressive specifications, so the higher price could be well justified.

Just recently, a GFXBench listing revealed that the purported Huawei Mate 8 will boast an in-house octa-core Kirin 950 chipset clocked at 2.2GHz, powering a massive 6-inch display with a full HD resolution (1,080p). Other rumored specs include a 16-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel front snapper, and a rear-mounted fingerprint reader, among the highlights. Paired with the aforementioned storage and RAM options, the Mate 8 is shaping up as an intriguing phablet. Moreover, the Huawei Mate 8 will allegedly run the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

Getting these specs at a $500 to $600 price point sounds reasonable enough, but it remains to be seen just what Huawei has planned. With everything still in the rumor state at this point, it's highly advisable to take all leaks, rumors and reports with a healthy dose of skepticism.

Huawei will take the wraps off its new Mate 8 in just a few short weeks, so we'll soon get the official scoop straight from the source.
