A GFXBench test results of a certain Huawei NXT-AL10, purportedly the much anticipated Huawei Mate 8 and rumored to have the Kirin 950 processor built by Huawei-owned HiSilicon, has cropped up over the Web.

The result has showed that the Huawei Kirin 950 SoC is more powerful than the Exynos 7420.

Based on the scorecard, the Kirin 950 notched a whopping 1,710 points in single-core performance while it logged 6,245 points in multi-core performance. If this leaked scorecard is true, this performance is indeed very remarkable, considering HiSilicon has been known for building underpowered chips.

The Exynos 7420, which presently powers Samsung's high-end smartphones, garnered 1,486 points in single-core and 4,970 points in multi-core performance.

Samsung's Exynos M1 chipset (which runs at 2.3 GHz), however, earned 2,294 points in single-core performance and 1,710 in single-core when set in power saving mode. Exynos M1 recorded 6,908 points in multi-core performance while it received 4,896 when in power saving mode.

Meanwhile, the Apple A9 marked 2,487 points in single-core while it notched 4,330 points in multi-core.

Huawei Mate 8

Rumor has it that Huawei will reportedly take the wraps off its newest device, dubbed Huawei Mate 8, this month which will come packed with stunning specifications, including the Kirin 950 processor.

Previously, it seems that the Chinese smartphone maker has been silent about this new smartphone it is reportedly building. If the rumor will turn out to be true, it will be deemed as the successor to Huawei's Ascend Mate7 and boast a big screen.

Earlier, we reported that an alleged teaser for a Huawei event on Nov. 26 popped up over the Internet, particularly through Weibo. The advertisement showed off a humongous number 8 and below it is the phrase "Mate 8." This somehow hints that, yes, Huawei seems ready in unveiling the hotly awaited Mate 8.

It sports a 6-inch 1,440 p resolution screen, an 8MP front shooter, a 20.7MP rear camera and an impressive 4,000mAh battery which will let consumers enjoy the device much longer.

Based on the leaked scorecard, it seems that one variant will be equipped with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Another variant is anticipated to arrive housing 3GB RAM plus 32GB of storage.

Meanwhile, it should already be no secret by now that one of the Nexus phones of Google is a Huawei-built handset, the very popular Nexus 6P (touting 3GB of RAM for all of its versions with storage options of 32GB, 62GB and 128GB).
