Serena Williams does not need super human powers to crack down on crime because she did not need it when she chased a man who took her mobile phone while she had dinner with a friend on Nov. 3. Williams relied on her instinct and intense training that led her to become the tennis superstar that she is to take back her phone before the thief could even get away.

Serena posted the entire incident on her Facebook account from the beginning when she had first felt something was off to the adrenaline-pumping chase she did until she was able to get her phone back, as well as an advice for girls to not allow themselves to become victims.

The post was made the day after the incident but anyone who reads it can tell that Serena is still feeling that triumphant high from her successful foiling of the theft attempt when she wrote down the story. She described how she sensed that something was not right when a man stood next to her for too long and decided to keep an eye on the man's strange behavior. She witnessed how the thief grabbed her phone from the chair and quickly attempted to get away from the scene but William's shouted that the man took his phone to alert the crowd before chasing after him, even going as far as jumping over chairs that were in the way. "Those sprints came in handy," Serena wrote.

Serena also said that the thief was surprised and tried to play it off as a mistake on his part for grabbing the wrong phone due to confusion since he could not deny the allegation because Williams' friend called her phone as they talked.

Perhaps it was lucky for the man that Serena wasn't carrying any of her tennis gear because he would probably get knocked out if Serena ever served one in his direction.

Serena did deserve that standing ovation for her marvelous feat and even more so with her final words. "Just because you are a lady don't be afraid to step up to any challenge and not be a victim but a hero!," she reminds.

So what do thieves get when they try to steal from Serena Williams? ... Absolutely nothing.
