Samsung's as-yet-unannounced Galaxy A9 was spotted recently on Zauba, a site that tracks import and export activities in India. Based on the images found on the site, the new device from Samsung will be sporting a display size of 6 inches.

The site also shows that the Galaxy A9 has been imported to India a number of times since the end of September. It seemed like the device has been through several testing stages in the Asian country.

Based on the data from the site, the phones, which were imported on Nov. 3, had a valuation of $201 each. Devices that were shipped the next day appeared to have a valuation worth $251. Perhaps the phone will retail twice the amount when it finally launches.

In an AnTuTu listing, the device was revealed to carry a 5.5-inch screen. Other leaked specs include Android 5.1.1 for its OS, Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 for the processor, 1920 x 1080 for the pixel resolution, 3GB for the RAM, 32GB as internal storage and an Adreno 510 GPU.

Last month, specifications of the upcoming Galaxy A9 were also revealed through GFXBench. The only detail that sets it apart from the AnTuTu listing is the handset's display, which, according to GFXBench, will measure 6 inches and will have a Super AMOLED feature.

There is no information yet on what type of camera the Galaxy A9 will be equipped with. It is highly likely that the device will also come with a 16MP snapper, similar to what is found in the Galaxy A8.

In an earlier report at Tech Times, it was mentioned that the Galaxy A9 will have a 5MP front camera, an optional dual-SIM capacity and a microSD card support that could add up to 128GB of storage.

The Galaxy A9 is also expected to come with a full-metal build which should be enough to give the handset a more premium look and feel.

Hopefully, Samsung will also keep the price tag of the Galaxy A9 at a competitive rate or at least somewhere near the A8's retail price of around $530. Samsung may formally announce the handset in time before the holiday season begins. Until then, other new details on the Galaxy A9 may pop up in the coming days prior to its launch.
