It's confirmed: Easter eggs will survive the apocalypse.

Fallout 4 director Todd Howard has given the nod regarding the inclusion of Easter eggs in the game, slated for release on Nov. 10.

When asked about game design – the loading screen, in particular – Howard briefly cited that Fallout 4 would incorporate something similar to that of Skyrim's, but that a striking difference would be the addition of, you guessed it, Easter eggs.

"If you look back at Fallout 3's [loading screen] it's really cluttered. There's a lot of stuff on it. We ended up with something similar to Skyrim but with a few Easter eggs. Minor. Minor," he shared.

Howard somehow negated the revelation by adding that that he didn't "want to oversell it." The statement was then followed by a hearty laugh.

In an interview held during Fallout 4's Los Angeles launch party, Howard disclosed a few more details about the game's much-awaited Easter eggs.

He revealed that the hunt would be quite lengthy, but would be worth the quest.

"We want [players] to find them," Howard said. "And it will take a while. But there's a ton, really good stuff," Howard said.

Fallout 4 is a big deal for gamers, which makes it an even bigger deal for its creators, who have spent a good four years on the project, according to Howard. However, the Nov. 10 release date is definitely not the end of the team's job responsibility - quite the contrary, actually. Fallout 4's DLC and free updates will be shaped by fans' demands, as the team intends to "see what people like, what they want more of, what they want different."

If this news plus the creators' mention of Easter eggs still don't make you want to go for the Fallout 4 season pass, we don't know what will.
