Get ready gamers, because Jason Voorhees will be unleashed again in the world of video games.

Developers Gun Media of Friday the 13th: The Game released an update on Tuesday that revealed they have reached their Kickstarter campaign goal with hours still to go, officially allowing for them to send Jason to stalk the grounds of Camp Crystal Lake.

Gun Media first launched the project to bring Jason back to video games for the first time in over 25 years. Twisting the knife of excitement even more, this title will allow gamers to play as the hockey mask-wearing slasher for the first time ever.

Friday the 13: The Game is an online multiplayer game that allows a player to stalk camp counselors and hunt for victims as Jason Voorhees. Meanwhile, seven additional gamers play as the potential victims and attempt to survive.

As of Wednesday evening, the Kickstarter campaign has currently received $720,631 of its $700,000 goal, with 55 hours still to go.

"Jason Has Been Unleashed! Thank You All," the developers wrote.

Since they have reached their goal, the folks over at Gun Media can also add bonus features to the game as highlighted in its stretch goals, including the "Mirror Smash" feature that would give Jason seven years of bad luck, and even the 3D "Head Crush," complete with eyeball pop-out if they reach $750,000.

The Kickstarter campaign will end at midnight EST on Friday, the 13th of November.

Friday the 13th: The Game will officially be released next year for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
