Everything that Bindi Irwin does – whether it's posting a photo with her boyfriend, making a trip to the pharmacy, or dancing blindfold on "Dancing with the Stars" – seems to end up in the headlines.

At least that's what it seems lately.

After the death of her father, Steve "The Crocodile Hunter" Irwin, the world gave Bindi a big hug, and hasn't let go since then.

We know that Irwin has been in the limelight since she was a child – singing in her own music albums, filming her own fitness DVDs, launching her own clothing line, acting in hit TV and movie series, writing her own book series, the list is endless. But here are a few more things that you may have not, and might want to know about the 17-year-old actress and conservationist.

• Bindi was born on July 24, 1998 in Nambour, Queensland, Australia. Her complete name is Bindi Sue Irwin. Her nickname is Beetle.

• Bindi was named after one of her father's crocodiles (Bindi) and her father's dog (Sui). Bindi is also an aboriginal that translates "little girl." The Staffordshire Bull Terrier that was Bindi's namesake, unfortunately, died in June 2004.

• Bindi's favorite animal is the echidna.

• By the time Bindi was 5 years old, she had already been on over 300 flights. That's an average of around 60 flights every year. She also got her first motorbike, a PeeWee 50, at the age of 5. Her father gave her a cheetah for her birthday.

• Bindi was the youngest person to appear on the cover of New Idea, an Australian magazine. She graced the cover in September 2006, making her the youngest person to do so in the magazine's 104-year history.

• Bindi's least favorite subject is, you guessed it, Math. (Finally, something many people can relate to!)

• Bindi became an official staff member at Australia Zoo when she was 9 years old. A walkie-talkie, the symbol of zoo staff membership, was given to her as a birthday present in 2007.

• Bindi won a Daytime Emmy Award in 2008, under the category Outstanding Performer in a Children's Series. She is also the youngest person to win a Daytime Emmy.

• The young conservationist gives 10 percent of her wages to Wildlife Warriors, a charity founded by her parents, Steve and Terri Irwin, in 2002.

• Bindi saved a seal that was washed up on shore on the set of "Free Willy 4."

• Bindi is an orange belter in Jujitsu and trains twice a week in MMA.

• Grace Kelly is Bindi's fashion inspiration.

• Bindi isn't on Facebook, but is on Twitter and Instagram.
