Developers and public beta testers can now download the iOS 9.2 Beta 4 on their devices for testing purposes.

Apple has just seeded the fourth beta version of its mobile OS, now reaching the build number 13C5075. The new iOS 9.2 Beta 4 comes just one week after Apple seeded the third beta of the OS. At the same time the latest release marks the company's second major update to iOS 9.

Tech Times previously reported that iOS 9.2 Beta 3 brought support for "Action Extensions" in the Safari View Controller. The latest beta release enhances the Safari View Controller even further, adding an edge swipe support for whenever one needs to dismiss it.

Downloading and installing the iOS 9.2 Beta 4 is now available as long as the user has signed up for Apple's beta testing program or the company's developer program.

In order to download the version, members first have to navigate to Settings on their iPhone or iPad. The next thing is to choose the options "General" and then "Software Update."

Those who are not yet registered developers or beta testers can easily sign up for either Apple's beta testing program or enroll in the developer program. After signing up, they will be able to download and install the fourth beta version of the OS.

Users who intend to switch from iOS 9.1 to iOS 9.2 Beta 4 should do so only after careful consideration, as it may be difficult for them to revert back to the general release versions of the OS should they later decide to downgrade.

Users who are still interested in trying out iOS 9.2 Beta 4, but have no intention to sign up for Apple's beta testing and developer programs, can also opt to download the version through the iModZone Downloads site. According to the site, users will be able to download iOS 9.2 Beta 4 on a number of Apple devices. These include the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Apple Watch and Mac.

Apart from the enhancements made to Safari View Controller, the new iOS 9.2 also brings other features that are worth pointing out. These include support for the NumberSync Wi-Fi Calling feature of AT&T, Arabic support for Siri, audio quality particularly during stereo systems streaming, syncing and pairing with the Apple Watch, and bug fixes for iCloud Keychain.
