Owning a Samsung tablet is now easier and cheaper with the recent offer from U.S. Cellular.

Customers can now purchase the Samsung Galaxy Tab E from the carrier along with the privilege to choose between two payment options. The first is an installment plan where they will be charged $8.75 a month for 24 months. The second is a two-year contract that costs $129.99, an amount that is notably cheaper than the 24-month installment plan total of $210.

"The Samsung Galaxy Tab E gives you just what you need to do what you love," says U.S. Cellular on its official site. "Catch up on shows. Stream music. Snap photos. From wherever you go - and all on a tablet that's simple to navigate."

Prior to the announcement from U.S. Cellular, customers who wanted to purchase the tablet could only do so on Verizon where the device was released back in September.

The Galaxy Tab E is equipped with 4G LTE and 3G capabilities and boasts an 8-inch WXGA TFT touchscreen display that has a 1,280 x 800 resolution. It also features a 1.2GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, expandable up to 128GB through a microSD card, 5,000mAh battery and Android 5.1 Lollipop. Its rear camera is at 5MP while the front is at 2MP.

Users will find it easy to switch between the tablet's camera and video modes. The Galaxy Tab E features a Continuous Shot mode and also a Panorama mode for capturing landscapes.

Samsung also touts the tablet as a safe, fun and kid-friendly device. The Kids Mode, which is available as a free feature from Samsung Galaxy Essentials, is designed to give parents their much-needed peace of mind without depriving their kids of a colorful and engaging platform for playing. With this feature, parents can easily manage the way their kids access the device and for how long the access is allowed, while keeping important files private at the same time.
