Samsung is rumored to be working on its second-generation "A" series handsets and will refresh the Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and the Galaxy A7. Various rumors of the devices have popped up online and latest reports suggest that the upcoming Galaxy A5 (2016) will have a 720p HD display, not a 1080p display as previously speculated.

A Hungarian website was the first to spot a user agent profile of the new Galaxy A5 with model number SM-A510M on Galaxy's own website.

According to the user's agent profile that appears on the Hungarian website, the display of the Galaxy A5 will feature 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. However, previous reports have claimed that the Galaxy A5's display will include 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. If the rumors are legit then the Galaxy A5 (2016) will sport the same display resolution as its predecessor.

The leaked user agent profile also suggests that the Galaxy A5 will come with an ARMv11 64-bit processor clocked at 1.5GHz. The user agent profile does not reveal any other features of the smartphone.

Based on other rumors, the new Galaxy A5 is expected to tout a 5.2-inch full HD display. The original Galaxy A5 sports a 5-inch display. It is speculated that the next-generation Galaxy A5 (2016) will run on Samsung's octa-core Exynos 7 processor and 2GB of RAM.

Taking pictures with smartphones have become a common function for most of the handset owners. Many customers are on the look out to purchase a mobile phone with enhanced camera capabilities. The original Galaxy A5 is equipped with a 13MP rear-facing camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. Customers will hope that the Galaxy A5 (2016) features a better camera in comparison to its predecessor.

Just like the Galaxy A5, the next-gen Galaxy A5 (2016) is also speculated to include 16GB of internal storage with the option to expand the storage capacity with a microSD card.

The Galaxy A5 (2016) is estimated to come running on Android 5.1 Lollipop. However, customers will hope that the smartphone is pre-installed with the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system instead.

Samsung has not confirmed any details about the Galaxy A5 (2016), which means customers will have to take all rumors regarding the handset with a pinch of salt for now.
