The headline basically says it all. Infamous Toronto Mayor Rob Ford is not only in "Sharknado 2," but also meets a grisly end when he gets a shark straight through the chest, "Alien" style. Obviously there is an actor playing Ford, but you get the point.

Yes, this is an actual scene from the movie. Just go here to watch the video.

In the sequel to the outrageous low budget hit "Sharknado," "Sharknado 2: The Second One" places New York City in the crosshairs when a freak weather incident escalates into a Sharknado, slamming New York City with heavy rain, hurricane winds and a deadly dose of flying sharks. The survivors and heroes of the first Sharknado in L.A. are (somehow) on the scene in New York to save the day, and, based on the trailers, will be using their signature anti-shark chainsaws to fight back against mother nature.

But what does any of that have to do with Rob Ford? Well, there is a surprisingly logical story explanation for Ford's appearance in a natural disaster film about tornadoes that sling sharks on unsuspecting citizens. After the Sharknado hits New York City, Rob Ford holds a press conference there to announce his city will be providing relief aid to the shark plagued citizens of New York. About five seconds into that press conference a shark flies through the window and impales Ford. He probably should have waited for the Sharknado to actually subside before visiting.

Sadly, this extremely brief scene will only be featured in the July 30 Canadian premiere of "Sharknado 2: The Second One" on Space, with the U.S. version airing the same day on SyFy. If the first movie is anything to go by, there are guaranteed to be even more ridiculous and insane shark attack antics where that came from.
