Today is a new day, Cyber Monday.

For the rest of us who decided to keep our cool and stay home over Black Friday shopping madness, today is the day to make the best of this season's deals.

Samsung, of all the major consumer tech giants, has been the company with the best deals. Fortunately, they do everything - smartphones, smartwatches, television sets, home theater audio, and even home and kitchen appliances. They just don't do drones (which is another hot ticket item this year).

Since the government is going to start registering drone users into a national database anyway, let's stay away from that hassle and work with what we can get easily. Of course, the brick and mortar stores will offer easy access and probably even same day delivery, too. Unfortunately, they've also got some of the trickier deals.

On special sale days like Black Friday and Cyber Monday, it's always best to read the fine print. Specifically, shoppers should pay very careful attention to "up to (insert amount here)" discounts that may include gift card promises and/or a trade-in for an unusually untradeable device such as the latest iPhone 6. In those cases with trade-ins, shoppers will get the best bang for their buck selling on eBay and then using the money they make on a better deal online today.

At Target, for example, the store is offering a $400 gift card on the Galaxy S6 for "well qualified guests" (whatever that means) and another $200 gift card with a trade-in for a working smartphone. At Best Buy, a $300 gift card can be had with a Galaxy S6,S6 Edge, S6 Edge+, or a Note 5 in exchange for working smartphone and a two-year contract with Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint.

The best flagship Samsung Smartphone deals are from the telecom companies themselves. On Verizon, a 32GB S6 Edge can be had for exactly $27.83 per month on a two-year contract while a Note 5 costs just $24.83 per month on a two-year contract, too. Over at Amazon, the online retail giant is offering the Gear 2 Neo smartwatch for $70 off at a final price of $129.

Besides the regular brick-and-mortar stores and the telecoms, Samsung has the best deals yet on its very own website starting from Black Friday going well into December. Save from hundreds to thousands of dollars over by skimming the deals we've already listed for this holiday shopping season. Happy buying!
