Through Indiegogo, Lab Zero Games has successfully funded Indivisible, the developer's RPG game next to Skullgirls inspired by titles such as Valkyrie Profile and Super Metroid.

On Tuesday, Dec. 1, the game was able to hit its $1.5 million target with just a few days to spare until the campaign closed. With that said, the project is the highest grossing title in the history of the crowdfunding platform.

Lab Zero Games' campaign was quite unusual compared with other games on Indiegogo, as the developer was set to fixed funding, which means that it will only get the donations if the goal was met. Other projects on the crowdfunding platform kept the donations they received regardless of the results.

Initially, the campaign was only given 30 days to raise funds, but it was extended when the first month only reached $900,000. Now that Indivisible has met its original goal, the project has two new stretch targets with only three days left until it closes.

At $1.65 million, Hiroki Kikuta, composer of the soundtracks on Secret of Mana, would add more of his works on the game. At $1.9 million, Titmouse, an Adult Swim animation studio, along with a currently unannounced anime studio will create an opening cutscene for the game.

Indivisible will land on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 as well as on Windows, Mac and Linux via Steam. The title will support seven languages, including English, Italian, French, Spanish, German, Russian and Japanese.

Indivisible is a side-scrolling RPG in the vein of Valkyrie Profile, spanning a huge fantasy world inspired by our own world's various cultures and mythologies. Players will navigate beautiful environments using a variety of different traversal abilities, and engage monsters in fast-paced combat," Lab Zero Games describes Indivisible on its Indiegogo page, where a free prototype of the title is downloadable.
