Google has released its annual list of the must-have Android apps for 2015 are available on the Play Store.

The list is a convenient way for people to find interesting apps they may want to dabble in and install on their Android devices.

On Friday, Dec. 4, Google released the Best of 2015 list, which is divided into eight categories and each several apps listed. The selection is composed of the best music, albums, applications, books, movies, etc.

The Best of 2015 sub-categories on the list are namely: Best Games of 2015, Best Apps of 2015, 2015 Top-Selling Movies, 2015 Top-Selling Books and Best of Newsstand 2015.

The apps listed in the Best section by Google have high user ratings and stars.

The list of top apps in the Best Games section comprises both paid and free apps. A majority of the games listed are free.

The Best Games section includes titles such as Candy Crush Saga, Minecraft: Story Mode, Minecraft: Pocket Edition, Mobile Strike, Fallout Shelter, Dear Hunter 2016, PewDiePie: Legend of Brofist, Argar.io, Walking Dead: Road to Survival, Need for Speed: No Limits, Madden NFL Mobile, Stupid Zombies, Talking Tom Jetski, Angry Birds 2, Minions Paradise and more.

The Best Apps of 2015 list has selections that are only free such as Truecaller, Colorfy - Coloring Book, Flipagram: Music Video Editor, Robinhood: Free Stock Trading, Language Learning, HBO Now, Backgrounds HD, Skype, Showtime, Wishbone: Compare Anything, EyeEm Camera Photo Filter, YouTube Kids and more.

The Best Movies and Best Books list for 2015 also have over 50 recommended selections from Google. The list for Best of Newsstand 2015 only has 20 recommendations by Google.

Interestingly, the Google Best of 2015 list has selection of games, movies, apps, newsstand and books based on the regions
