GoPro announced on Tuesday that its streaming channel is now available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 systems.

PlayStation users can now download The GoPro Channel app, which allows users to stream content on-demand and search for videos in various ways, such as based on specific activities (like surfing or skiing), watch videos while searching and navigate within playlists, along with finding new content.

That means get ready to watch all your favorite extreme sports videos streaming right from your favorite console.

The app also includes a product discovery feature that allows users to watch product videos, browse and shop for GoPro cameras and accessories directly from their gaming console.

"We want GoPro content and programming to be easily accessible on every platform where our millions of fans spend time," Jon Cohen, GoPro's director of distribution, said in a statement. "There's a sweet-spot of overlap between PlayStation's super-engaged audience and the GoPro audience and we're excited to welcome PlayStation to GoPro's expanding OTT family."

To celebrate the launch on Sony's consoles, GoPro has also released an exclusive video called The 66th Parallel — Discovering Iceland with Ben Brown, which will only be available on PS4 and PS3 until Dec. 29. The video will then be released on all GoPro platforms.

GoPro's streaming channel previously launched on Xbox One a year and half ago. The app is also available for Amazon Fire TV and Roku, as well as cable services Comcast Watchable and Sky.
