The Samsung Galaxy S7 is about to go official, and the highly anticipated smartphone is reportedly going to come in 5.1-inch, 5.5-inch and 6-inch form factors with flat and curved variants.

Rumors about Samsung's upcoming flagship have been spreading like wildfire, where it is believed to get a microSD card slot again and sport the powerful Exynos 8890. This time around, ITSKINS has revealed some renders of the handset, listing cases that are now up for preorder.

According to the renowned case maker, Samsung is keeping things simple for the Galaxy S7. First off, the standard Galaxy S7 will have a flat 5.1-inch screen with no curved variants. Second, the Galaxy S7 edge will have a 5.5-inch screen, but it will only come with a curved design. Lastly, the largest in the bunch, the Galaxy S7 Plus will have a 6-inch display, and it's available in both a flat screen version and a curved one, where the latter is presumably the Galaxy S7 edge+.

Most of the time, cases that are unveiled before the smartphone's official launch give a good idea of how the handset will turn out. Some companies even occasionally send renders to case makers so that accessories for their future devices are ready right before rolling out.

ITSKINS' listing includes cases for the Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge and Galaxy S7 edge+. Interestingly enough, there's no sight of one for the Galaxy S7 Plus. As for the dimensions of the cases, the base Galaxy S7 has 148 x 73 x 10, the Galaxy S7 edge has 142 x 70 x 7 and the Galaxy S7 edge+ has 154 x 76 x 7, although some of the information just doesn't add up.

It appears that the protective add-ons will be available on Jan. 15, 2016, where the Samsung Galaxy S7 has a tentative release date that ranges from January to March 2016.

To simply put it, customers will have four choices to choose from, that is, if these are the finalized options for the smartphone.

It's also worth mentioning that the Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to be similar to the Galaxy S6 design-wise, but it'll have curved edges on every side, including the top and bottom. It's also believed that it'll be made using magnesium alloy glass for a more solid build instead of the aluminum material used in the S6. To top it off, Samsung is purportedly going to apply Turtle Glass instead of the widely used Gorilla Glass.
