Ultimaker’s line of desktop 3D printers gets a little bigger today with the addition of two machines to its 2 series.

Both devices are set for release later this year, bringing a handful of upgrades to the line, including, most notably, the addition of interchangeable nozzles designed to help users swap out printing materials and settings.

The Ultimaker 2+ and Ultimaker 2 Extended+ also get improved gear feeders, which means there’s less of a chance a print will skip, which any experienced 3D printer will tell you is a perfectly good way to lose an hour of your life.

Both devices are available right this very second. Ultimaker has also promised “more innovations” later in the year, including an online 3D printing course created in collaboration with the Illinois Makerlab at the University of Illinois.
