Whether it's on Twitter, Instagram or even Google+, Google Glass's social media accounts are all dead in the water.

While there's no trace of the augmented reality, smart glasses on social media outlets, that doesn't mean that plans for Google Glass are done.

A blog post by 9to5Google.com reports that while Google's avenues for offering the Glass on the consumer level are gone for now, it currently lives on under the umbrella of Project Aura.

The website reports that its Aura team is working on a few different devices and that one of them is a continuation of the Glass, now referred to as "EE," or the "Enterprise Edition."

Remember, that the company released FCC images of the Enterprise Edition of the Glass last year. That pair touted the ability to fold as part of its design, offering a sharp contrast from the Google Glass, which wasn't able to bend at the frame. The updated frames of the Enterprise Edition also worked around a button-and-hinge system.

For what it's worth, Google Glass posted on Google+: "Hi Explorers, we've had a blast hanging out with you on G+ throughout the Explorer Program. From now on, if you have any questions about your Glass, you can get in touch with us here: https://support.google.com/glass/answer/3079854."

Other than those leaked FCC images from late last year, the Enterprise Edition has been kept under wraps and it seems like that will continue being the case moving forward until a formal announcement about the product is ready to be made by the company.
