Fans of Mortal Kombat XL can now preorder the game title at the Xbox store.

Considered as one of the best-selling game titles in 2015, Mortal Kombat XL features both new and existing content that includes new character skins and new playable characters.

"One of the best-selling titles of 2015 has gone XL!" teases the game's bundle description at the Xbox store. "Komplete The Mortal Kombat X Experience with new and existing content. Includes the main game, and new playable characters the Xenomorph from Alien, Leatherface, Tri-borg, and Bo'Rai Cho."

It should be noted that Mortal Kombat XL is not a sequel nor a game expansion. According to the game's developer NetherRealm Studios, Mortal Kombat XL features every bit of extra content and DLC that are related to the Mortal Kombat X game which the developer released again on a single disc.

There are definitely several bundle features that gamers can expect in the release. These include the Cosplay Pack, the Klassic Fatalities 1, the Klassic Fatalities 2, the Klassic Pack 2, Tremor, the Predator/Prey Pack, the Predator, the Brazil Pack, the Klassic Pack 1, Tanya, the Kold War Pack, the Horror Pack, Jason Voorhees, the Samurai Pack, the Kombat Pack, the Kold War Scorpion, Goro and Mortal Kombat X.

The game belongs to the fighting genre and is published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

Earlier, Tech Times reported that NetherRealm Studios confirmed Mortal Kombat XL will only be available to users of the Xbox One of Microsoft and the PS4 of Sony.

"Mortal Kombat XL and Kombat Pack 2 will [be]available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One only," said Tyler Lansdown, NetherRealm's community manager, in a forum.

The game's release on the Xbox One and the PS4 but not on the PC may be disappointing to PC users. However, the decision could be the result of the poor performance of Mortal Kombat X on the PC, which saw connectivity issues.

Gamers also speculated that support for Mortal Kombat X's PC version will be totally stopped when Mortal Kombat XL is released in March.

The new Mortal Kombat XL has a preorder price of $59.99. While the game will be officially playable on March 1, players can already download the game from Xbox Live prior to the release date.
