It looks like doppleganger season has finally hit CBS' super-hit Supergirl with the debut of Bizarro, the Bizarro-World version of the titular DC superheroine - and like her comic book appearances, she's set on one thing, and one thing only: "destroy Supergirl."

Introduced at the tail-end of Monday night's "Strange Visitor From Another Planet" episode, it looks like Supergirl's mirror image has already made a big impression, making National City headlines by chucking a car off a bridge in the final moments of the episode. But unlike most Bizarro-Girl storyline iterations, it looks like Maxwell Lord has Frankensteined this particular monster - and if her black-veined face or carnal roar are any indication, it looks like Kara Zor-El might have finally met her match.

Here is the official synopsis for the episode:

Kara faces off against her mirror image when Bizarro (Hope Lauren), a twisted version of Supergirl, sets out to destroy her. Also, Kara grows closer with Cat's son, Adam (Blake Jenner).
