Does your golf game need a boost?

Well, consider Garmin's Approach S20 GPS golf watch as a digital caddie — one that you pay for once, but that pays you much more in an improved game on the links.

Garmin introduced the smartwatch Tuesday, and it is preloaded with upwards of 40,000 golf courses worldwide in addition to daily activity tracking, smart notifications and automatic updates.

With each swing, the Approach S20's AutoShot feature automatically records the location and distance of every shot. That data gets uploaded to the Garmin Connect mobile app, allowing golfers to further dissect and improve upon areas of their game.

Along the same lines, the S20 also generates helpful information, such as yardage to the green and potential hazards on each course. The wearable tech device is also compatible with the new TruSwing golf club sensor, delivering even more in-depth metrics about your golf game with each swing of the club.

"With the S20, we're excited to announce a new entry-level golf with distances to hazards," Dan Bartel, Garmin vice president of worldwide sales, said in a company blog to announce the new watch. "With a stylish look, the new AutoShot feature, TruSwing compatibility and activity tracking, the Approach S20 takes golfers seamlessly from the links to everyday life."

Garmin says the Approach S20 packs up to 15 hours of battery life while in GPS mode and up to eight weeks in its regular watch function with activity tracking.

The smartwatch will be available next month and will retail for $199.99.
