AT&T is offering a buy-one-get-one deal for the current Samsung Galaxy flagship lineup.

If you purchase a Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+, S6 Active or Note 5 from the U.S. carrier, then you're eligible for yet another 32 GB Galaxy S6 or S6 Active free of charge.

To get in on the action, a customer must avail the two smartphones on AT&T Next with qualified service of a $70 a month minimum. The deal will only last until March 31, so it might be a good idea to start saving up for it now.

However, for people in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Miami-Dade, the offer is unfortunately void in those locations. The reason? Well, AT&T didn't mention anything about why that's the case. At any rate, the residents in said places will just have to miss out on the bargain.

To clear up the specifics, don't forget to read the fine print when you're about to participate in the promo.

Now, this deal is perfect for the people who aren't keen in getting the upcoming Galaxy S7 or S7 edge. If you're one of them, this is the best opportunity to get a twofer out of the Galaxy S6 lineup.

To join in the fun, simply head over to the AT&T website.

For those who don't know, the Galaxy S6 Active is the sturdier, bulkier and water-resistant sibling of the S6. The handset can even stand in as a hockey puck, showcasing just how durable it is.

Moving forward, it's worth mentioning that there's a pretty good chance that the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge will be waterproof, according to Zauba. That's one step up over one of the Galaxy S6 Active's notable features.

It should also be noted that deals such as this and price cuts for flagships that are about to be replaced are clear indications that newer models are about to roll out. In other words, retailers appear to be up and about in selling all their stocks of the Galaxy S6, as the upcoming Galaxy S7 will soon take their place at the top of the Samsung device food chain.

To boil things down, it's a good idea to wait for the Samsung Galaxy S7 to hit the shelves, but two pieces from the Galaxy S6 lineup for the price of one is nevertheless a great buy.
