"Gravity is just a habit" you can't really break, according to OK Go but we are pretty sure creating viral music videos for their songs is a habit the alternative rock band would not break either. That's because, on. Feb. 11, OK Go finally released their latest music video for "Upside Down & Inside Out" on Facebook and it is pure awesome.

It's amazing how the band can still outdo their previous equally fantastic single take videos with treadmill choreography and Rube Goldberg machines but, apparently, they can still take it up a notch by shooting another single take music video with acrobatic flight attendants and piñatas in zero gravity.

The video came to fruition after months of planning and with the sponsorship of Russia's S7 Airlines, which provided the parabolic aircraft. To emphasize just how awesome that is, it is the same type of aircraft used by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to train its astronauts. The single take video took about 45 minutes to complete because the period of weightlessness lasted for less than 30 seconds with a five minute recharge time. Since they were committed to their single take routine, portions of the video were just removed for the final product.

"Because we wanted the video to be a single, uninterrupted routine, we shot continuously over the course of 8 consecutive weightless periods, which took about 45 minutes, total," OK Go explains. They also went on to add that in spite of the 27 seconds of weightlessness the parabolic flight afforded, the zero-G choreographed sections were fitted to 21 seconds routines. Since they were up in the air and they wanted a single take, they braved through the challenges.

"After we filmed a scene, when gravity returned, we stayed as still as we could for the five minutes of the plane climbing, and then began the next scene as soon as we were weightless again," the band explained. Watch the video in full below or on Facebook.
