Lenovo brings three new Tab3 tablets at this year's Mobile World Congress which are designed to cater to business and family-focused consumers.

Dubbed Tab3 7, Tab3 8 and Tab3 10 Business, the trio of tablets all come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and are scheduled to start shipping in June.

The entry-level Tab3 7 is a 7-inch tablet with an SD IPS display that boasts a water repellent coating. This means that users can easily bring the tablet to the kitchen, the bathroom or even when it's raining. It's particularly designed to cater to mobile and active users who want to use their devices outdoors.

Specs wise, the Tab3 7 features a MediaTek 1.0 GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage expandable through the tablet's microSD card slot, a 3,450mAh battery and a decent camera combo for an entry-level tablet. Although the resolution is at a modest 1,024 x 600, this can be easily compensated with a bit of premium features such as Android 6.0 and dual-SIM LTE support.

The Tab3 8 also runs on a 1.0GHz quad-core processor and features 5 MP rear and 2 MP front cameras.

Both the Tab3 7 and Tab3 8 boast a Dolby Atmos cinematic moving audio and offer safe Web-browsing, restricted access and Kid's Mode, which ensures that they are safe for children to use.

"For many families, watching videos or playing games on a tablet requires sharing," says Lenovo. "We built the TAB3 7 and 8 series of tablets to make it easier for families with multi-user modes and similar features. For younger children, the tablet also comes pre-loaded with dedicated kid's mode with safe Web-browsing options and the ability to restrict access to the tablet at chosen times or days of the week."

While the Tab3 8 seems a little similar to the Tab3 7, it has a rather more respectable resolution of 1,280 x 800. The tablet will also come with either 1 GB or 2 GB of RAM.

The biggest of the three is the Tab3 10 Business, which has a 10-inch full-HD IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3. It also boasts dual speakers that are boosted by Dolby Atmos cinematic movie audio. Camera options include an 8 MP rear camera with auto-focus and 5 MP front camera with fixed-focus.

Other highlights include a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, Y- and T- connectors, USB on-the-go for external storage connection, RJ45 cables or card readers and a slew of connectivity options that include NFC, Wi-Fi and an optional 4G.

The Tab3 10 Business also comes with the right system and apps that makes the tablet perfect for business-focused users. The tablet also comes preloaded with Google Play for Work, Android for Work apps and the so-called Kiosk Mode, which turns the tablet into an interactive kiosk. Lastly, the Tab3 10 Business supports industry solutions for e-Health management, point-of-sale management and even classroom management.

The Tab3 7 will reportedly cost $129 for the LTE+Wi-Fi version, while the Tab3 8 will sell at $99 (Wi-Fi) or $149 (LTE).

In the meantime, the Tab 3 10 Business will have 3 pricing options. These include $199 (Wi-Fi only), $249 (2 GB and LTE) and $299 (3GB and LTE).
