It's not much of a secret that Jon Snow actor Kit Harington is going to be in Game of Thrones season six. He was spotted on set filming scenes, and despite his insistence that his character is dead, the set photos definitively say otherwise.

With less than two months to go before the season six premiere, it looks like Harington is finally changing his tune. After long denying any kind of role in the new season, the actor has confirmed he did indeed shoot scenes for season six.

There is a catch, however. He says he only filmed scenes as a corpse.

Speaking with Time Out, Harington had this to say about the extent of his role in season six:

"Look, I'm not in the show any more," he tells the site. "I'm definitely not in the new series. I filmed some scenes of me being dead — [jokily] it's some of my best work."

When asked whether or not he knew what happened in the upcoming season or if he had lost those privileges, Harington responded by saying, "I don't have a clue. I know how long I'm a corpse for, but I can't tell you that!"

That last bit is perhaps the most significant. Harington confirms that he will be dead in at least part of season six, but then, with his last sentence, seems to imply that might not be the case all season. Read his words again: "I know how long I'm a corpse for, but I can't tell you that!"

Hmmmm. Certainly sounds like Jon Snow might be resurrected. That, of course, wouldn't be all that surprising. Fans have been theorizing about his character's fate since the release of A Dance with Dragons in 2013, and resurrection via Melisandre definitely seems the most likely way to bring the character back to the realm of the living. That being said, we still don't know for sure, and that's why millions will tune in to HBO on April 24 for the season six premiere.
