Donald Trump's foreign policy ideas can basically be summed up in one word: wall. As in, the Republican front-runner for 2016's presidential race wants to build a massive wall across the U.S.'s southern border with Mexico.

It just so happens that walls play a major role in one of Japan's most popular franchises, Attack on Titan, in which humanity lives inside walled cities to protect them from the man-eating Titans roaming outside. One Japanese newspaper didn't waste the opportunity to fuse Donald Trump with the horror of the hit manga and anime series, and the result is pretty spot on.

Appearing in Tokyo Shinbun, the political cartoon below shows Donald Trump as one of the anime's terrifying, massive (and nude) flesh-hungry monsters, as he (it?) attempts to breach a walled city. According to a translation from Otaku USA, the cartoon reads "Trump is going to build a wall around Mexico ... and destroy the walls around Asia."

Two men in the corner of the image discuss the situation, with one man asking "It'd be pretty bad if he actually becomes president, right?" The man standing beside him responds by saying "Nah, the Titans of Asia will protect us."

The cherry on top is the clever Japanese word-play for the comic's title. In Japan, Attack on Titan is known as Shingeki no Kyojin. The comic has replaced the "kyo" part, which stands for "giant" in the original title, and added another form of "kyo" that means liar. The spelling is the same, but the meaning is far different.

It was recently announced that the second season of the Attack on Titan anime has been delayed to allow for the manga to get further ahead. That way the creators of the anime can follow the established source material rather than create original content. The news comes as a major disappointment for fans who have been waiting patiently, but if nothing else, a promising PlayStation game based on the first season of the anime is coming soon.
