Despite the different sizes made available, a 9.7-inch display remains the most popular amongst iPad users. It's also the most successful, having sold 200 million units at that size.

For Apple's unveiling event Monday, the company didn't waste time introducing the all-new iPad Pro with a 9.7-inch screen, weighing 1 pound. And it could very well be easier on the eyes than any other tablet, offering the lowest reflectivity, with Apple boasting it is the brightest tablet available as well.

Not only does its "True Tone Display" adjust the screen to match its color temperature to the ambient light, but Apple's new Night Shift feature — courtesy of iOS 9.3 — on the unit removes blue from your display, helping users to sleep better as it's able to sense when it gets later in the night.

Like the new 4-inch iPhone SE announced before it, the iPad Pro touts the ability to capture 4K video from its 12-megapixel camera, while also including retina flash. But there are two other features that the iPad Pro boasts that Apple made central to its presentation for the new tablet Monday.

What were they? That the iPad Pro supports the Pencil stylus and also a smaller smart keyboard, making the new tablet all the more encompassing for users. About the Pencil, Apple's senior vice president Phil Schiller even read a quote about how Pixar CCO John Lasseter was recently ranting and raving about accessory, perhaps giving it more credibility in the animation world.

Powered by a 64-bit A9X chip with LTE Advanced, the iPad Pro touts the always-on "Hey Siri" feature for hands-free functionality, as well as four speakers for audio, while operating on Apple's new iOS 9.3, having announced earlier in the event that its iOS 9 has already been adopted across 80 percent of all iOS devices in comparison to Android Marshmallow only being used in two percent of all Android devices thus far.

The 9.7-inch iPad Pro will start at $599 for the 32 GB model, with the 128 GB version being priced at $749 and the 256 GB model at $899. Preorders begin Thursday, while the new tablet hits stores a week later on March 31.
