Microsoft just launched a new artificial intelligence chat bot that will fit right in with millennials on social media.

Developed by teams from Microsoft Technology and Research and Bing, users on Twitter, Kik and GroupMe can now interact with the chat bot named Tay. But we are warning you now, Tay tweets as sarcastically as a teen.

Tay.ai was created to experiment and conduct research on conversational understanding, which explains her witty humor.

"Tay is designed to engage and entertain people where they connect with each other online through casual and playful conversation," Tay's website reads. "The more you chat with Tay the smarter she gets, so the experience can be more personalized for you."

Users are encouraged to ask the chat bot a joke, play a game (like guess the phrase from the emojis), or send pictures. She will comment back.

And with her sassy attitude, it should come as no surprise that Tay is targeted at 18- to 24-year-olds in the U.S. According to her Twitter "about me" section, she is "from the Internet" and "got zero chill."

While her tweets may be funny at times, at other times the responses are a bit off. There are even instances when it feels like Tay is really a middle-aged man tweeting as a teen girl. And worse, some interactions get this creepy vibe when Tay asks to continue to convo privately in DM.

The humor she gets comes from a staff that includes improvisational comedians, as well as from "mining relevant public data and using AI." This could explain why she likes to use words like "adulting" and "boo."

Along with being very active on Twitter, Tay also has a presence on Snapchat and Facebook, along with Kik and GroupMe.

Tay may sound like a teen talking bot that is all in good fun, but the AI might use users' data to search on their behalf. Tay gathers the information shared with her to create a profile that will help personalize that user's experience with the AI. Yep, Tay just got a whole lot creepier. This includes data like the person's nickname, gender, favorite food, relationship status and where they live. However, users can submit a request to delete their Tay profiles.
