The HTC 10 leaks just keep on coming. The latest news on the soon-to-be-announced smartphone comes from GFXBench, where the handset was benchmarked and had its specs confirmed.

HTC recently announced that it would be holding a press event on April 12, where it would announce its 2016 flagship smartphone. Most of the smartphone's specs, details and press renders of the device have leaked. We've already seen the smartphone's updated design, with the images showing the smartphone from all angles.

Customers can expect HTC to offer the HTC 10 in four color options, which include black, gold, white and silver. The silver variant was spotted in the wild, confirming its chamfered metal case, capacitive buttons and Home button/fingerprint scanner.

Now, the HTC 10 has made an appearance on GFXBench, and the results confirm some of the smartphone's key specs.

The GFXBench shows the HTC 10 tested was a unit with 32 GB of internal storage, although a report in February claimed there would also be 16 GB and 64 GB variants. The handset is packing a 5.1-inch 2560 by 1440 quad-HD display with a pixel density of 576 pixels per inch (ppi) and is running Android 6.0.1 and presumably, HTC Sense 8.0.

The HTC 10 is being powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, the same chip found in Samsung's Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge and LG's G5 smartphone, as well as the same 4 GB of RAM the other handsets also include. The smartphone will use an Adreno 530 GPU (graphics processing unit).

HTC recently tweeted that the HTC 10 would feature "world first and world class" front and rear cameras, and according to the benchmark, the HTC 10 will boast a 12 megapixel UltraPixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and the ability to capture 4K UHD video, in addition to a 5 megapixel front-facing shooter for video chat and selfies.
