There's less than a month left before the sixth season of HBO's "Game of Thrones" goes back on air and the characters appear to be facing either uncertain life or certain death. While the fans go on an epic guessing game about what will happen next, Alfie Allen, who plays Theon Greyjoy, had a little something to share of what his and Sophie Turner's character, Sansa Stark, would immediately be facing when season six opens.

Thanks to the most recent trailer, we already know that Theon, also known as "Reek," and Sansa jumped off Winterfell's wall to escape Sansa's sadistic husband, Ramsay Bolton, and because they just killed Ramsay's lover, Myranda. The trailer also showed a glimpse of what is most likely a Ramsay-led hunt for the two but now we know for sure that it is as we suspected.

Theon is back and he plans to get Sansa as far away as possible from Roose and Ramsay since he knows firsthand how cruel the Boltons can be but he is not all that successful. Ramsay manages to hunt them down and that is what all the running scenes are from. Allen also clarified that despite looking like Sansa was helping him up in one of the official stills; it was actually Theon helping Sansa get down the river because she was afraid.

"Don't believe the press shots! It looks like she's trying to get me out of the river, when I'm actually trying to be the strong one and get her in," he said.

What about Brienne of Tarth and Podrick who have been waiting for Sansa's signal since they found her back in Winterfell? Allen says they do get to cross paths. It happens after Theon sacrifices himself to allow Sansa to escape but Ramsay finds her anyway and Brienne makes her entrance to crush Ramsay's men.

"Theon sacrifices himself because I guess he hasn't really got much worth or meaning for himself [...] they see Sansa anyway. Then Gwendoline Christie turns up and smashes everyone," he explains.

"Game of Thrones" returns to HBO on April 24.
