When Coca-Cola first launched its "Share a Coke" campaign, consumers were constantly on the lookout to find a bottle that had their name on it. And now that the campaign has since fizzled a bit, the company has decided to give it a reboot, this time featuring song lyrics on the labels.

Starting in April, consumers will see song lyrics on the packages of Coca-Cola, Coke Zero, Diet Coke and Coca-Cola Life in the rebranded campaign that will now go by "Share a Coke and a Song."

The idea is that consumers will be brought together through music, sharing a Coke as they enjoy a specific memory, mood or feeling reading the lyrics.

"Song lyrics strike an emotional chord in people, capturing what we are feeling while helping us express what we want to say," Joe Belliotti, Head of Global Music Marketing, Coca-Cola North America said in a press release. "We're setting the summer to music to inspire and connect fans through the special moments that are created when they share a Coke."

The labels will feature lyrics from more recent songs that have risen to the top of the charts, like "We never go out of style" from Taylor Swift's "Style" and "All I do is win" from DJ Khaled's track of the same title. The company is also throwing in some classic hits and oldies but goodies in there for every kind of music lover.

When the campaign debuts, the types of lyrics that will be found on the bottles will be associated with specific feelings like love, victory, flirtation and motivation. While there will be lyrics like "It's getting hot in herre," there will also be more patriotic lyrics features like "I'm proud to be an American."

We can't deny that these two are both suitable choices for summer and Fourth of July festivities. And of course the company is also throwing in some lyrics from its ads, like "Just for the taste of it."

There will be a variety of more than 70 different song lyrics on Coke products.

The song lyrics will be featured on 7.5-ounce mini cans, 8-ounce glass bottles, 1.25- and 2-liter bottles, 20-ounce bottles, as well as 12-ounce cans of Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Life, Coke Zero and Diet Coke.

You will be able to use the music app Shazam to scan the lyrics on specially marked 20-ounce bottles to then record a video of your best lip-sync performance and share it on social media.

The "Share a Coke and a Song" campaign will start on April 18 and run the entire summer.

Consumers will also be able to create their own custom bottles from a list of lyrics on ShareaCoke.com. And don't worry, if you were planning a party with names on Coke bottles for your guests, consumers can still purchase the "Share a Coke" bottles through the website.
