Street Fighter V was released for PC and Sony PlayStation 4 (PS4) in February this year. Though it has attracted many gamers, some players are left disappointed because of rage quitters

Rage quitting is a serious issue as players abruptly leaves an online game session to avoid losing cheaply. Rage quitters have more to maintain, or even gain, by leaving a match rather than sticking to the end.

Capcom, the publisher of fighting video game, has revealed that it is planning to roll out a system to fix this rage quitting issue.

Some gamers, who have come across rage quitter while playing the game, have also complained online regarding the issue.

"I don't know why people do this. I've seen videos of players ragequit that i know are fake because i check the match history on that player and it says they lost but yet theres a video of them ragequitting against that person that they genuinely lost to," complained a Reddit user.

Some rage quitters also came forward and gave reasons why they rage quit. However, no reason of rage quitting is acceptable in the Street Fighter V community.

"I feel guilty as hell doing it on occasion myself, but I've just run out of patience for taking guaranteed losses fighting an opponent that teleports for the entire match. I just make sure I only do it in the first round before anything really happens, so I'd hope people understand that I'm not trying to be malicious," says a rage quitter.

Now Capcom has tweeted its plan to fix the problem of rage quitting in this month.

This is not the first time that Capcom has addressed the issue of rage quitting. In early March this year, Capcom revealed that it is penalising rage quitters.

"Starting last week, we penalized roughly 30 players in our system by docking their League Points. Players who log into their account and see that their LP and Rank has dropped significantly can consider this a warning. We will be continuing to monitor these accounts in the coming weeks and will take further action if needed," says Capcom.

In the past the company also asked players to send video evidence, which would help Capcom to strip League Points of the offenders. However, it was not an effective measure as not all gamers record their game sessions.

It will be interesting to see what system Capcom brings in place to punish rage quitters. Gamers will only hope that the system used by Capcom is effective in finding and penalising rage quitters.
