2017 Subaru WRX

The 2017 Subaru WRX will carry a 2.0-liter direct injection turbo BOXER engine offering 268-horsepower. It will be featuring a Symmetrical all-wheel drive (AWD) and six-speed manual transmission unless buyers opt for a Sport Lineartronic transmission.

The WRX Premium version, offering different wheels and a moonroof, raises the price to $29,815. Continuously Variable Transmissions (CVT) additions to the premium version will sell it for $31,015.

WRX Limited versions with the EyeSight upgrade includes reverse auto braking. If drivers opt for a "row-your-own gears" manual transmission, the price jumps to $31,815 from its previous same pricetag to the 2016 model. On the other hand, a CVT upgrade will raise its base price to $33,015.

2017 Subaru WRX STI

The 2017 Subaru WRX STI has a 2.5-liter turbocharged and inter-cooled BOXER engine offering 305-horsepower. This "rally-bred" model packs an active torque vectoring, Super Sports ABS technology, Brembo performance brakes and driver-controlled center differential.

Buyers can only choose the six-speed manual transmission but can opt for a low-profile trunk spoiler in exchange for the signature wing. The Subaru WRX STI will also now have automatic headlights and windshield wiper operation that adjust independently depending on the situation.

Pre-purchase and reservations have yet to be announced by Subaru.
