If you were wondering when Apple's annual Worldwide Developers Conference will be taking place this year, all you have to do is simply ask Siri.

The digital assistant revealed that WWDC 2016 will be held from June 10 to 17 in San Francisco.

Usually, Apple announces the conference date through invites and email. However, with no date yet confirmed, a simple look at the schedule for the Moscone West (the company's venue of choice) reveals that the first week of June has already been booked up.

Interestingly enough, the rest of the month has other conferences booked, leaving the third week in June to be the only available option.

Last year, the conference was held from June 8 to 12. Running a littler later this year will give Apple more time to get ready for presenting the first look at iOS 10 and OS X 10.12, which is expected to be announced during the spring event. The company may also debut a new lineup of Macs, which would be nice since the Mac Pro desktop hasn't had an update since 2013.

Reportedly, Apple may also unveil revamped models of the 13- and 15-inch MacBook Air. It has been eight years since the MacBook Air was released, finally making it time to see what's next for the device.

However, rumors are swirling that the company may actually discontinue the MacBook Air lineup. With HP's Spectre 13 giving Apple a run for its money, the company may want something besides the iPad Pro to compete with other ultra-thin laptops.

If Apple wanted to be the first to release details about the conference date, the company will be disappointed to find that Siri has beat it to the punch.

Since Siri knows it all, it is only fitting that we ask the Apple assistant when we can expect to tune in. After giving the June 13 through 17 dates, she makes sure to add that she "can't wait" for the event.

The only thing we will have to keep waiting for is the unveiling of the iPhone 7, which probably won't happen until Apple's fall event.

Earlier in the day, Siri revealed, "WWDC is not yet announced." So, if this is Apple's way of announcing it, it is a first. At least we can now add the event to our calendars.

Last year's WWDC featured many exciting announcements, such as the launch of Apple Music, OS X El Capitan, iOS 9 and its apps like HomeKit, watchOS and Apple Pay. We expect big things from you this year, Apple.
