Ubisoft revealed the next important update to the Rainbow Six Siege, called Operation Dust Line, and two new operators will join the badass crew.

The announcement came during the Rainbow Six Pro League finals, which took place at the ESL Main Stage of PAX East.

The first new operator from the expansion pack is Valkyrie, a Defender character coming packing a powerful SPAS-12 shotgun. She also has the helpful ability to place sticky cameras on any surface, allowing her teammates to use video information to coordinate their efforts.

The second character is dubbed Blackbeard and is an Attacker that has a shield mounted on his weapon, making him a very useful spearhead for his team. Did we mention that he holsters a Desert Eagle as well?

Due to the delay of the first major update, Operation Black Ice, the upcoming DLC will come a bit later than anticipated. This means that gamers who own season passes get to toy around with the new content during the week of May 9.

Ubisoft encourages players to get season passes to get access to "some truly VIP features."

"New game-changing operators are now available along with a permanent renown boost, additional challenges, exclusive skins, and R6 Credits," says Rainbow Six Siege's blog.

Artwork from the official Ubisoft webpage hints that Operation Dust Line will take place in the Middle East, and the gaming company backs this up. However, no official information have been released about the new maps.

There's no trailer for the much-expected new content from Rainbow Six Siege yet. All we get so far is the portrayal of Blackbeard and Valkyrie, but we can muster that the Navy Seals are the latest counter terrorist unit that joins the title.

Although it starts to become tradition for the gaming company to load two additional operators in every major update, new characters are only part of the reason players are anxiously awaiting for DLCs. Bugs fixes and general gameplay improvements are also in tow, not to mention the additional maps.

We will keep you posted as soon as we have more details about Operation Dust Line. Game on!
