The makers of mobile phone accessories have come out with an absolute beast. The Anker PowerHouse boasts a humongous 120,600 mAh battery pack that promises to keep your phone running for 40 days straight.

The company launched the machine on April 18, and it definitely has more uses than a mere phone charger with its multi-charging ability.

The monster of a machine houses 36 individual batteries, each rated at 3,350mAh, which together provides the powerhouse with a total capacity of the claimed 120,600 mAh or 434 Wh. This is enough to juice up your phone 40 times over, the laptop 15 times over, a 15V lamp for 100 hours, and even a mini fridge for more than seven hours. Sporting an aluminum finish, the powerhouse is a little smaller than a car battery and weighs around 9.7 lbs.

On the exterior reside one 12V car charger slot, four 2.4A USB ports, a 16.8v power input space and an 110v standard AC plug. The power bank can be recharged in 10 hours using the kit charger and in 16 hours in future with a solar charger that is yet to be released. The LCD panel at the helm displays which ports are switched on, along with an accurate prediction of how much time remains for the machine to tap out. It also includes temperature and voltage safety controls as well as an internal surge protection that prevents the machine from turning into a heat-induced bomb.

Priced at a hefty $499 at Amazon, Anker has placed its latest product alongside the small, low-end gas generators. The price kind of makes sense when you stop seeing the machine only as a massive power bank and consider the other possibilities. It is an ideal thing to carry for camping, road trips and places suffering from frequent power outages.

Preorders are running at $399 currently, for limited period only.
