Max Schwartz is a Brooklyn lifestyle photographer and creator of Tinder Headshots, a project to make sure users of Tinder get the best pics possible for their profiles by taking professional-style headshots.

“Tinder Headshots is basically just headshots for your Tinder,” Schwartz told Elite Daily. “I work as a full-time photographer as it is, and I shot one of my co-workers photos. He ended up putting it up on Facebook and using it on his Tinder. Then he came up to me and he was like, ‘Dude, people are hitting me up way more.’ I made a joke saying, ‘I should just shoot this for a living.’”

Entrepreneurship is often just taking advantage of a simple idea someone didn’t think of first. Schwartz’s friend gave him the idea on a whim, not a business pitch. He recognized a need in the market and filled the void.

Tinder Headshots has been successful by all accounts, and Schwartz even gets returning customers who wish to further diversify their profile.

$75 - one headshot (retouched), one outfit

$150 - three headshots (retouched), three outfits
