Steam is known for having massive game sales, and this weekend's anime sale is no different.

Well over 100 anime-inspired video games are currently discounted up to 90 percent off on Valve's digital storefront, and the variety of titles being offered is staggering.

Of course, there are a number of games based on popular anime properties. It wouldn't be an anime sale without Dragon Ball and Naruto, and Steam is delivering the goods. Dragon Ball Xenoverse is 66 percent off for a price of $16.99, while the more recent Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is 33 percent off for a price tag of $33.49. If you don't mind playing the previous entry in the franchise, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is only $7.49, which amounts to a 75 percent discount.

The sale is really a dream come true if you're a big fan of JRPGs or visual novels. These kinds of games make up the vast majority of the titles on sale. It's impossible to name them all, but rest assured that fans of those genres will find plenty to love (and for cheap). A number of anime-style fighting games, like BlazBlue and Guilty Gear, are also on sale.

Valve's game service, believe or not, also sells and rents movies, and many of them just so happen to be various the Naruto films. A few of those are also discounted during the sale, such as Naruto Shippuden The Movie: The Will of Fire. The film is $9.09 after a 30 percent discount.

Some of the games on sale (like Legend of Korra and Dead or Alive 5) aren't technically anime, but who is going to complain about more options? The more cheap games, the merrier.

Steam's anime sale comes at the same time of Sony's Golden Week sale on PlayStation Network. That sale features a number of Japanese-developed titles to celebrate the series of upcoming Japanese holidays.
