Prime members are about to get even more content to stream - that is if they don't mind paying a few extra bucks to do so.

Amazon added seven new channels that are now being offered to members through its streaming service as add-ons. These include: BeFit, British Pathé, Comedy Dynamics, Jennifer Adams, Space Rip, Undisputed Champion Network and Xive TV.

The additional monthly fees to add these channels range between $2.99 and $6.99, and the type of content these channels provide includes everything from fitness workouts to space videos, documentaries and comedic films.

Space Rip, the channel dedicated to the collection of space and astronomy videos, is the cheapest at only $2.99 per month. Those interested in design can add on the channel Jennifer Adams for $3.99 per month. The channel for all things comedic film and stand-up Comedy Dynamics is also $3.99 per month after a week of free trial, as is the Undisputed Champion Network, which features boxing discussions and analysis.

Those who are interested in history of the UK can stream content from British Pathé Presents Secrets of Cinema for $4.99 per month after a 14-day free trial, which reveals profiles and gives behind-the-scenes looks at some of the biggest movies filmed in England.

Documentary lovers can add Xive TV to their Prime subscription also for $4.99 after a 7-day free trial. The types of documentaries aired on this channel include history, science, nature, adventure and mystery titles.

The most expensive add-on on the list is the channel BeFit, which costs an additional $6.99 a month but will be money well-spent for those looking for home workouts. Videos include full body workouts by Jillian Michaels, fat-burning sessions with Denise Austin and yoga by Sadie Nardini.

These new channels join the lineup of other third-party video subscriptions already available through Amazon's streaming service. The company launched the ability for customers to add subscriptions to Showtime, Starz, A+E Network, AMC, DramaFever and more last December.

Of course, these third-party video subscriptions cost a few extra dollars a month to the annual $99 Amazon Prime membership that includes Prime Video.

Adding more channels provides customers with more options to be able to watch the content they are most interested in without needing a cable subscription.
