Please note that the following contains spoilers from this week's episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

It might seem impossible, but Vandal Savage is about to make life even more difficult for the team of potential superheroes on DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

Although Hawkgirl, aka Kendra, had a chance to finally kill Savage once and for all, Savage pulled out his ultimate weapon against her: Carter, aka Hawkman. Savage has Carter under his spell, though, and he promised Kendra that he is the only person who can save him. So instead of killing Savage and saving the world, the team decides to take him prisoner, and throws him into the brig on the Waverider.

No good can really come of this, because Savage isn't stupid, nor is he weak. And in a preview of next week's episode, he will take advantage of his situation as the ship's prisoner and begin tormenting every member of the team.

Here's the official description of next week's episode, "River of Time":

"After numerous attempts in many different time periods, the team has successfully captured Vandal Savage (guest star Casper Crump). However, Savage tells Kendra (Ciara Renée) that he can reunite her with Carter (Falk Hentschel) so she struggles with whether she should kill him. Rip (Arthur Darvill) decides they will deliver Savage to the Time Masters, which doesn't sit well with Snart (Wentworth Miller) and Rory (Dominic Purcell). The duo decides it may be time to jump ship and return to their old life. Meanwhile, Savage taunts Ray (Brandon Routh) about his place in Kendra's life."

DC's Legends of Tomorrow still has several episodes to go before its season finale on May 13, so it's likely that Savage will escape in next week's episode to continue creating havoc on the world, all according to his master plan. Meanwhile, the show's creators and writers have already started thinking about season two.

"Season two, they're no longer going to be hunted by Time Masters," showrunner Phil Klemmer said to IGN. "They're no longer going to be burdened with having to save the world. It's no longer going to be about saving Miranda and Jonas. The interesting thing about Season 2 is I think it's going to have a much, much different tone because our Legends are going to have a totally different purpose. They're actually going to have a totally different constitution. There will be new faces and new everything."

DC's Legends of Tomorrow airs at 8 p.m. EDT Thursdays on The CW.
