With him playing Ant-Man, Paul Rudd has joined the big leagues that is Marvel's superheroes. However, as a relatively new kid on the block, he's still feeling his way in the superhero game and that includes trying to get used to his new playmates.

Rudd was over at The Graham Norton Show and he recounted what it was like to be on set for Captain America: Civil War.

He had shot Ant-Man so he isn't exactly an amateur. But since he was alone in that, it felt like he was in a bubble. Suddenly, he was surrounded by Robert Downey, Jr. and Chris Evans all suited up, just like how he's seen them in the earlier Marvel movies and he was just completely overwhelmed. But in a good way!

"I felt like I was 10 years old. It was crazy," Rudd said.

Next up, he shared seeing Sebastian Stan, who plays Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier in the Captain America movies, getting his silver arm attached and feeling so weirded out like he was watching someone take a bath, like it was something he shouldn't be seeing.

Fortunately he got over that awkward moment, even mustering enough courage to go over to Stan and feel the Winter Soldier's silver arm, because why not?

But probably his proudest fanboy moment was when Captain America had to take a leak during shooting. Evans handed Cap's shield to the prop guy and Rudd seized the moment to finally hold and have some fun with the shield.

Don't change, Paul Rudd. Don't change.

Watch him geek out below!

Other guests in The Graham Norton Show episode Rudd was in include Seth Rogen, Martin Freeman (who also appears in Civil War), Maxine Peake and Birdy.

How do you think you would have handled holding Captain America's shield? Sound off in the comments!
