The Force was strong with a group of dancing stormtroopers that earned a rare golden buzzer from Dark Lord Simon Cowell on Saturday night's Britain's Got Talent.

The group, which calls itself Boogie Storm, busted out moves to a medley of pop hits, including Silento's "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)," Beyoncé's "Single Ladies," Psy's "Gangnam Style" and Fleur East's "Sax."

Boogie Storm earned a standing ovation from everyone in the audience for its performance, and Dark Lord Cowell's push of the golden buzzer sent the Empire's shock troops marching to the semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent.

Cowell mentioned that he had always wanted to have dancing stormtroopers on the show.

"Guys, girls, I don't know who you are, but I literally said 'If we could find Stormtroopers who could dance' — seriously, I said that — 'This show is going to go into a different league,'" he said during his critique, according to the Daily Mirror. "My dream has come true. Thank you."

The mysterious stormtrooper dance troupe did not utter a word during its appearance on the show, but it did cause Cowell's fellow judges to make Star Wars jokes.

"Do you work for this Dark Lord?" Amanda Holden asked two members of Boogie Storm.

"No surprise that the real-life Darth Vader voted for his troops," said David Walliams.

While mystery surrounds the identities of the Boogie Storm members, Epoch Times tracked the group to a dance and musical theater studio led by Jennifer Ellison.

A Twitter account, @boogie_storm, appeared to confirm with a tweet on May 7 that it's associated with the group.

Additionally, a user asked how many male and female members are in Boogie Storm, and the group's Twitter account replied, "you'll have to wait and see pal."
